nee Smidt, age 85yrs , resident of Thornton, IL. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Hoeksema; loving mother of Tracy Middleton (Bob Ward) , Edward (Barbara) Hoeksema, Carla (Edward) Gerald and Karen (Keith) McLean; cherished grandmother of Jeanette (Victor) Ramirez, Jennifer (Rob) Wisely, William (Lydia), Jacob and Travis Middleton, Amy (Cristian)Chacon, Blake Hoeksema, Ethan Gerald, and Emily Hoeksema, Walker and Mackenzie Mc Lean; proud great grandmother of 10; dearest sister of the late Annette (the late George) Iversen and John (Margaret) Smidt; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation and service for Helen will be held on January 29,2022 at St Paul Lutheran Church , Thornton, IL. 10:30 a.m. with service 11:00 a.m.
