Beverly Pasek, 97, of Oak Forest, Illinois, passed away April 22, 2023, in Venice, FL.
She was born to the late Francis Robert and Adele Bauer, March 2, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois. She married the late Edward Pasek in 1947, and they lived in Chicago before relocating to Oak Forest, IL. Beverly is survived by two children: David (Kimberly), of Cherokee Village, AR, and Steven (Carolyn), of Venice, FL. She is survived by four grandchildren, Stephanie, Alyssa, Nicole and Gregory and three great-grandchildren Carson, Avery and Alex. Beverly was predeceased by her loving husband in 2006 and her son James (Ida) in 2021.
Beverly’s first job was working with the War Effort at the Dodge Plant in Chicago where they made engines for B-29 Superfortress Bombers, it is here where she made many lifelong friends. She was also employed by Griffith Laboratories, Chicago as a Lab Technician where she helped to create some of most beloved and iconic food items that are still enjoyed today. Her last position was as an Apprentice Pharmacist at Lawn Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL.
There will be a celebration of life at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19th at Bethania Cemetery,
7701 Archer Ave, Justice, Illinois.
